Earlier this year, Amanda Seyfried drew widespread attention after publicly criticizing Charlie Kirk, the right-wing activist who was shot and killed during a public speaking event at Utah Valley University on September 10. Responding to an Instagram Reel that showcased several of Kirk’s inflammatory remarks about Black women, immigrants, and transgender people, Seyfried wrote, “He was hateful.”
Her brief comment sparked immediate discussion across social media. Within days, she expanded on her stance in a longer Instagram statement, offering additional context for her remarks and reaffirming why she felt compelled to speak out.
Now, three months later, Seyfried is standing by her words once again. In a new cover interview with Who What Wear, she reiterates her position with the same clarity and conviction—and her comments are already generating significant praise online.
